Despite its silly name, Plumpy’nut is helping end a very serious problem. Ithaca College's Food For Thought is hosting the 10th Annual Walk for Plumpy’Nut on Sunday, October 23rd in Cass Park. Join the fight against world hunger and help make a difference!

Not only has Food for Thought been hosting this event for 10 years, but this year, 100% of ALL PROCEEDS from the walk go towards providing malnourished children in Ethiopia with Plumpy’Nut, a therapeutic nutrient enriched peanut butter. Each ticket bought nurses 1.3 acutely malnourished children back to health.
2. Exercise outdoors in beautiful, Ithaca
Enjoy the beautiful fall weather while exercising with your fellow IC classmates! Solving world hunger can be as easy as a walk in the park.
3. spend time with your best friends
There is nothing more rewarding than getting together with friends and giving back to a worthy cause. Also for groups of 5 or more, tickets are only $7. Bring your friends and save!
4. Get off campus and have fun!
Don’t stay cooped up in the library all weekend cramming for that Econ test! De-stress and come out for the Walk for Plumpy’Nut! Cass Park is a beautiful autumnal gem situated right beside the shores of Cayuga lake.

Are you really a college student if you don’t go to an event with free food? Come feed your stomachs and your souls. Converse with fellow food fighters over some bagels, Coffee and fruit!

Who doesn’t love tie-dye? Ignite your creativity and customize your Plumpy’Nut t-shirt at our tie-dye station!
7. Enjoy great performances and Music
Do you love music? We will be having some amazing beats jockeyed by VIC Radio and a special guest acapella appearance!

Enter to win prizes from local Ithaca vendors at our raffle table! We've got prizes from Manndible Café, One World Market, Mighty Yoga, Moose Wood, Agava, Home Green Home, T-shirt Express, Purity, Sunny Day, State Theater, Hangar Theater, Wine & Design, Rasa Spa, The Tamarind Restaurant, and Green Star Grocery. Tickets are $1 for 1, $5 for 7, and $10 for an arm length! Come find us in Campus Center North Foyer the week before the event to buy your tickets now!
